LIVE ON ZOOM

WE ARE SOLD OUT!

Session 1: Composing the Garden

Friday, 14th November – Evening (7pm to 9pm)
What we will do: Get comfortable with drawing and understand composition

We begin with playful sketching and loose doodles to warm up.
Through guided drawing exercises, we’ll explore how to create simple bird forms and place them harmoniously within a floral composition.
You’ll learn how to use pencil lines, the rule of thirds, and intuitive layout to create balance and rhythm in your artwork.
You’ll leave this session with:
A well-composed sketch ready for color and flow.

 Session 2: Painting with Gouache
Saturday, 15th November – Morning (10am to 12pm)
What we will do: Learn to work with Gouache, flow, layer, and blend.
This session introduces you to the expressive magic of gouache
understanding opacity, layering, and color harmony.
We’ll cover color mixing basics (color theory), brush strokes, and techniques
to create lush floral and feather textures.
You’ll leave this session with:
A beautiful small color study that prepares you for your final piece.

Session 3: The Final Artwork
Saturday, 16th November – Morning
(10am to 12pm)
What we will do: Bring together all the learnings in an artwork

This is where it all comes together.
Using your sketch and studies from the previous sessions, you’ll build your final composition
— a delightful, frame-worthy painting of a bird nestled among blossoms.
We’ll focus on layering, light, and finishing
touches
to give your artwork depth, vibrancy, and joy.
You’ll leave this session with:
A complete artwork — your own birdsong in color.
